AssessmentEvery scenario considered on its merits
One disciplined assessment

Two potential funding pathways.

The objective is not to force a transaction into a predetermined product. We first establish the purpose, security, debt position, timing, evidence and repayment strategy.

01

Direct lending

Where a transaction fits the relevant credit appetite, structure and funding parameters, a direct lending pathway may be considered. Eligibility, terms and approval remain subject to full assessment and due diligence.

02

Facilitated finance

Where another capital source is better suited, Basic Finance can prepare the credit story and approach selected private or non-bank lenders based on the transaction’s requirements and evidence.

The Basic Finance standard

Clarity before commitment.

A headline rate or LVR is never the whole facility. A useful assessment shows what is available, what it costs, what conditions apply and what must happen for the debt to be repaid.

Purpose

The commercial use of funds is specific, genuine and supported by evidence.

Security

Accepted value, existing debt, ranking and registrable interests are reviewed together.

Net funds

Interest, establishment fees, legal costs and other deductions are separated from the gross facility.

Evidence

Financials, bank statements, BAS, contracts, valuations or project documents are matched to the scenario.

Risk

Conditions, guarantees, defaults, extensions and practical constraints are made visible.

Exit

The primary repayment event and a credible contingency are tested before settlement.
